Our response to the misconduct

In our report dated on March 6, 2018, we made public an analysis of the causes of the misconduct and measures to prevent a recurrence, coupled with facts relating to several misconducts revealed by the Independent Investigation Committee.

The Kobe Steel Group will continue to place the highest priority on completing the safety verifications with its customers. At the same time, we take very seriously the facts disclosed. We must not forget what has happened, and we will therefore implement the fundamental reforms described in the report.
