Kobe Steel receives 2023 Award for Excellence in Corporate Disclosure from the Securities Analysts Association of Japan

Kobe Steel, Ltd. announces that it received 2023 Award for Excellence in Corporate Disclosure from the Securities Analysts Association of Japan (SAAJ). The Company has been ranked first in the Steel/Non-Ferrous Metal category for the first time.

The SAAJ Awards for Excellence in Corporate Disclosure have been announced annually since 1995 to award companies that have demonstrated excellence in terms of the quality, quantity, and timing of information disclosure based on the objective evaluation criteria.

Of the five evaluation items in this selection, our Company ranked first in two items: (1) Management involvement in IR, the functions of the IR department, and company’s basic stance on IR and (2) Disclosure of ESG-related information.

Our Company's IR activities are based on the policy of "strategic and systematic information dissemination," and our basic stance is to promote "all-hands IR activities" in which management and employees work together. Encouraged by this award, we will continue to strive to enhance our corporate value through constructive dialogue with the capital market.
